As a business/life coach for entrepreneurs I always love working with couple entrepreneurs and businesses. Bickering can start on a whole different level. Not only are you working with your own limiting beliefs and decisions on how to run your business but you have your partner to work with also. Don’t wave the white flag yet and give up. Here are some tips to help you start on your path to success.

  • Be resilient together!!  As entrepreneurs we need to work on being resilient. Especially as a couple with a business together. You are busy running your lives under the same roof and most of the time with children. You will have your ups and downs. Sorry for not painting a pretty picture. You need to understand that and realize the reward. Being able to adjust with the winds of change in your business will be the #1 saviour for you. Know that stuff happens and adjust the sails together. If you agree, share this tweetable to Twitter or add to your social media.

  • Work on time together outside of work!! Rediscover what you enjoy and make time for a date. Sometimes when we get too busy we forget what is important and make time for that. Set aside time to do what you remember you enjoyed doing together. I love working with couple entrepreneurs and seeing people rediscover who they once were as couples. The Ah-ha! Moments are breathtaking when couples get back to that place of happiness and success. I have teamed up with my partner who is a master chef. We have created exciting cooking retreats for couples that will take them around the world. Sign up here for updated info as it happens.

So, plan to make time for the two of you to get away and to stop and smell the roses.

  • Have a clear plan for your business and life!! Be on the same page for where you want to go with your business and life. Know your individual strengths and separate tasks accordingly. Review your plans and have common goals that will help you when the going gets tough. Keep your eye on the ball.
