Today’s Ah-Ha Moments for Success we had the pleasure to interview serial entrepreneur Jan Frolic.

We had a chance to speak about her role as VP for WOI and passion with Women of Influence Worldwide and her newest project Boy-project.

Jan Frolic is serial entrepreneur with a passion for advocacy. After 20 years in the media and advertising industry, Jan has used the last 5 1⁄2 years honing both her advocacy and entrepreneurial skills as Vice President of Women of Influence Worldwide Inc., a global organization that works for the advancement of women in the workplace. Jan’s primary role is to create new partnerships and to build WOI’s brand globally and to build communities of vibrant women and men who are investing in diversity and inclusion.

Jan has a particular focus on inclusion and the requirement for systemic change in how we view traditional gender roles. Jan has recently Co-Founded Boypro-ject an organization that creates archetype based, in- school curriculum around masculinity. She aims to take her expertise around diversity and inclusion to create new pathways for boys and girls to have a better understanding of both traditional and non-standardized ideas around masculinity. There is an urgency required to make both micro and macro change in the gender landscape and she feels that instilling new ideas earlier will be the best way to create full systemic social change. Jan holds on to the idea that building from the bottom up should create gender equity in home, social and work environments.

Jan’s second love and passion is connecting people. Building relationships is what she does for a living and in life. She strives to live her life with kindness and integrity and with a lot of laughing.

Her first love and most important role is to raise happy and kind socially aware kids into socially responsible adults. Jan is mother to two teenage boys and a pre-teen girl. She is passionate about building kids who will champion each other as adults.
