3 Steps to Making Smarter Choices
Entrepreneurs make dozens of decisions every day. Often, we don’t even think twice about the options laid out before us; we just instinctively choose. And yet there are so many variables affecting the choices we make, such as emotions, perceived outcome (risks and rewards), former experience or education, stress, and the list goes on.
How do you ensure you are making the types of decisions that get results? And I don’t mean just any result, but the right results for you and your goals; the kind of results that are aligned with your root success (that burning desire within you).
The truth is, making effective decisions as an entrepreneur takes practice. But there are still some steps you can take to improve your decision-making technique and ensure the choices you make are the best fit for your overall business strategy.
In today’s Ask Anita episode, we discuss three steps to making smarter decisions:
- Trust your instincts.
- Practice self-awareness.
- Understand your business strategy.

To Your Success and Happiness,
Great video. Trust Your Instincts. That seems to be a big one for so many of us entrepreneurs. It’s sometimes hard to decipher if it’s our instinct we’re hearing or an old belief clouding the way. Thanks for your insight.
Thank you for your comment Victoria. Many times we don’t stop long enough to know there are our instincts. It is taking the time to develop what I call in my programs a “auto success mindset” and it just becomes second nature. You can recognize what is fear and what is instinct and do the right thing in that situation that is best for you.
